William O’Malley is a founding member of Engage Health and currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer. In his leadership role, William oversees a broad spectrum of governance, strategic, and tactical initiatives for Engage Health's national healthcare client portfolio. He is also responsible for cultivating and scaling a high-performance, multidisciplinary team of professionals within an intrapreneurial corporate culture.
With over 16 years of senior healthcare leadership experience, William has been pivotal in various national, regional, and local healthcare initiatives. Before joining Engage Health, he served as the Vice President of Healthcare Product Innovation at Performant Corp. There, he led the audit division servicing the CMS Recovery Audit Contract for Regions 1, the National Region 5 DME contract, and program integrity efforts for prominent national and regional insurers. During his tenure, he developed and implemented strategic healthcare activities across the division. Additionally, he spearheaded the implementation of the data mining solution for CMS’ UPIC contract.
Previously, as a founding member and Vice President of Operations for Veritas Medical Review Solutions, William led the implementation and operation of the first CMS RAC program for Region A, covering Part A, B, and DME programs. He also served as a subcontractor to the CMS Level II reconsideration appeals contract. His expertise was also instrumental in developing new population and care management offerings for the organization.
William holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Business Administration and
Management, Finance from The McGowan School of Business at King’s College, and a Master
of Business Administration in Accounting and Finance from the Fox School of Business at
Temple University
