Dennis P. Deruelle M.D., F.H.M., is Chief Medical Officer at Mendota Health, a national mobile advanced wound-care company. Dr. Deruelle has more than 25 years of hospital medicine and leadership experience. Dr. Deruelle’s previous experience includes Executive Director of Hospital Medicine with American Physician Partners and as Vice President and National Medical Director of BPCI services for TeamHealth. Dr. Deruelle has been featured on Fox News and a number of national television and radio talk shows, in newspapers and medical journals, and at national healthcare conferences. He also published his second book, “Your Healthcare Playbook: Winning the Game of Modern Medicine,” He is also a professional singer-songwriter in Nashville, TN. Dr. Deruelle did his Internal Medicine training at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and is a Fellow of the Society of Hospital Medicine.
